No file? No problem. Most of our jobs start with a photo, a sketch or a broken part. We model it, you approve it, then we print it.
From a photo to a printable part
Roughly half of the requests we receive come without a 3D file. We model replacement parts, brackets, mounts, enclosures and custom ideas from whatever you have: the original part, photos next to a ruler, a hand sketch with dimensions, or a description.

Design time is in the quote
For straightforward parts, modelling is included in the print price. For larger design jobs we quote the design separately so you know exactly what you’re paying for. Need just the file? We can deliver STEP or STL without printing.

What do you need to model my part?
Photos from several angles next to a ruler, plus the key measurements — hole spacing, thicknesses and overall size. Calipers help, but a ruler often works.
Can I get the design file?
Yes. Ask for STEP or STL when you request your quote.
