Rapid prototyping in Edmonton

Test the idea before you tool it. Enclosures, housings, fit checks and design iterations, printed in Edmonton so you can hold version two the same week you think of it.

For inventors, startups and engineers

Printing is the cheapest way to find out whether a design works. We print one-offs and short runs of prototypes from STEP, STL or 3MF files, and can help turn sketches into printable CAD.

Electronics enclosures are a common request: cases with cutouts for every port, screen housings, keyboard cases, IO shields and mounts.

  • Electronics enclosures and cases
  • Form and fit test parts
  • Product housings and covers
  • Mounts, jigs and test fixtures
  • Iterations on the same design
  • Pre-production samples

Iterate quickly

Send a revised file and we’ll print the next version. With a farm of printers running side by side, a new iteration doesn’t have to wait behind other jobs.

Questions.

What file formats do you accept?

STEP is best for anything we may need to modify. STL, 3MF and OBJ are fine for printing as-is.

How accurate are printed prototypes?

Typically within a few tenths of a millimetre on well-designed parts. For tight fits we can print a test coupon first.

What helps
